Student & Family Ministries

Our middle (grades 6-8) and high school (grades 9-12) student ministries are led by volunteer adult leaders from the church, along with college leaders from St. Olaf and Carleton Colleges.

Our mission is to build students of faith in Jesus Christ who are able to persevere and consistently strive for God's will and glory. We believe the development of students fall into various categories similar to the development of Jesus outlined in Luke 2:52 - "Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature, and in favor with God and all the people." Jesus' adolescent development was holistic and focused on four areas: relational development (relationship with other people), spiritual development (relationship with God) intellectual development (knowledge and study), and physical development (having to wear deodorant). Our commitment as a ministry is to encourage and support relationship, spiritual, and intellectual development and growth.
